The EF5MA is a very handy system when it comes to ventilating between areas that are sectioned off from one another by sub-walls. This situation is very common in federation style contruction where rooms are compartmentalised. Therefore the Envirofan EF5MA can be installed into these sub-walls by extracting a brick and silicone in place, to achieve air transfer from one compartment to the next, then to the extraction Envirofan system which is located on the exterior wall of the building. Packaged as a single unit you will need a transformer and low voltage cable. However it can be connected (in parallel) to the transformer that is packaged with the Envirofan system kit which is mounted on the outside wall, as that transformer will operate up to 3 dual fan systems or one and a half quad fan systems.
